Working professional. Father of six... Six boys.
If your lucky, one day I will answer the question I know you're thinking right now. "Are you going to try for a girl?"
Baby boy #6 was the reason my wife and I wanted to make the jump into a larger vehicle- one that would have enough room for the crew, and maybe even a friend.
Why we like the NV 3500 passenger van:
-Available leather trim and V8 performance in the SL model
-More attractive styling than the competitors
-Nissan reliability
What we don't like: What you should definitely consider before looking for a Nissan NV 3500 for sale
-THE NV 3500 PASSENGER AC SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE
When we drove off the lot with our new SL model, we were in love. The kids were pumped about the extra room as well. It didn't take long, however, before our kids kept telling us to turn up the AC. They continuously complain that it's too hot.
When the AC system is turned ALL THE WAY up, it feels like the air is barely coming out of the vents.
Beware! My four-month-old tells me every day how hot he is. No, he can't talk yet. He whines and cries and sweats. Every time we take him out of our hot van his back is damp with sweat.

Things you should know:
-Nissan USA doesn't want to admit there is a design flaw
-The dealerships just shrug their shoulders - "All we do is sell 'em and fix 'em when they are actually broken. What you have is just bad engineering."
If you own a Nissan NV 3500 passenger van, I hope you will join the cause and express your opinion so that Nissan USA can offer a solution.
Other than this issue, we like our 2017 Nissan NV 3500 passenger van, and hope that we aren't forced to get rid of it due to poor AC flow.
